The Meridian TV film crew made an appearance during dress rehearsal at The Point in Eastleigh to take some footage for local TV. Members of the cast and crew had an opportunity to meet with Mayors of Hampshire in support of the Countess Mountbatten hospice appeal.

Mountbatten Players Artistic Director Peter Pitcher announced an extra Sunday matinee will be held for the 2008 production of Jack & the Beanstalk. Due to the sell out popularity of Last year's Aladdin in particular the two matinee shows, Mountbatten Players will be performing extra shows on Sunday 20th January at 2pm and 6pm.
